A Line in Pixels
Exploring the infinite possibilities that arise when the world of technology meets the world of art. Using the latest digital tools like Blender, Cinema4D, and Processing to push the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of art and design.
By conceptualizing new ideas and learning new digital tools, I seek to examine what the two-dimensional world cannot. My work is a reflection of my abstract and philosophical approach to art.
Abstract Composition
“Abstract Composition” was created from my most profound passion for the Arts. The inspiration for the composition came from Philip Lueck, a 3D artist, and colors inspired by Bram Van Haeren, an abstract artist. The aim of “Abstract Composition” was to let the audience explore abstract art’s very nature to guide and increase its understanding. What is usually in 2D can be hard to comprehend. With the 3D exploration, one can see the shapes’ relationships, knowing that each is interconnected and the associations to the meaning or beyond are endless.

Generative Art
‘Generative Art’ is an exploration of the endless possibilities that programming provides. Generative art is Digital art or the art of coding. Simply put, generative art is created algorithmically, which means establishing rules, guidelines, and patterns. In which the output can be random, calculated, or both. Inspired by thunder and lightning patterns from nature at night that struck our creative spirit. It is made in collaboration with Clara Batista. This project was completed in the course ‘Programming for Designers’ by professor Ruxandra Iancu Bratosin.

Myxocete
'Myxocete,' also known as slime molds, are part of nature's most primitive life forms. Their otherworldly, primitive, mysterious essence makes the mold foreign to ordinary humans. The concept for this brief is to imitate nature by representing an alien slime mold. This project was completed in the course ‘Programming for Designers’ by professor Ruxandra Iancu Bratosin.
The project has been greatly inspired by the quote from Nietzsche:
"Out of damp and gloomy days, out of solitude, out of loveless words directed at us, conclusions grow up in us like fungus: one morning they are there, we know not how, and they gaze upon us, morose and gray. Woe to the thinker who is not the gardener but only the soil of the plants that grow in him."
Friedrich Nietzsche
